Originates complex engineering drawings in all disciplines.

Revises and checks all types of engineering drawings.

Prepares complete bills-of-materials for assigned drawings and checks those prepared by others.

Utilizes essential documentation and refers to standard reference works and codes of practice independently.

Organizes and conducts field trips for data collection; provides detailed notes.

Operates on a routine basis all computerized equipment pertinent to the Unit's operation (Drawing Tracking and Controls System (DTACS) and Computer Aided Design Drafting (CADD).

Communicates with Drafting Services personnel and WORK proponents.

Participates in the Unit Training Program.

Performs additional duties as required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Secondary School plus Technical School (2 years) and nine years related work experience.

Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently.
